Switching Office Licenses on Windows (Non-HOH)

This guide will walk you through switching your Microsoft Office license to the one associated your AGWM Africa account.


Note: This guide is for a Missionary who is not the HOH. If you are, use this guide.

Checklist


To make sure you are using the correct guide, check each of the items below.


  • You are using Microsoft Windows.
    • If you're on a Mac, use this guide instead.
  • You already have Microsoft Office installed on the device you want to configure.
    • If you don't yet have Office installed, contact support. We will have a guide ready soon.
  • You must be a Fully-Appointed Missionary.
    • Associate accounts do not have licenses for offline applications
  • You are configuring Office for a user who is NOT the HOH.
    • If you are the HOH and configuring your own device, use this guide instead.



Instructions


  1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
  2. Check the top right corner. If you see a switch labeled Try the new Outlook, make sure it is set to Off. Outlook will restart after turning off the setting.
  3. In the top left corner click File.
  4. Near the bottom left corner click Office Account.
  5. Under the Product Information heading, find and click the Switch License button.
  6. A window will pop up, if you see the text "Let's check your account" click the small link that says Use a different account.
  7. Click the button that says Sign in or create account
  8. Continue the sign in with the HOH's credentials.
  9. Click Next to confirm your Office license.
  10. You're done!
